Landscaping update - Front yard

Thought I'd post up an update of the front yard.  In particular of my Korean No Mow grass.  It's so cute.  Who would describe grass as cute?  Me...

Anyway this is what I'm excited about even if I don't like the clover that's growing through it...

This was what it looked like before:

 We got them into the ground in November 2015.

And the plan of it was to have it look like a Japanese garden from the bedroom (this was what it is meant o look like out the window :)

The fruit orchard is also getting a bit further but the building of the rock terraces is a lot of hard work and labour AND needs a lot of fill (which is what we are waiting on now)

The bamboo is also taking off in a big way.  Each of the pots once in the ground does so much better!

We started with the ones on the northern side (ie on the south side of the fence)

The ones on the south side of the garden only just got put in recently as there was too much work happening the area.

We also got a couple of troughs to put a couple more bamboo plants in.  These pots will be moved back a bit when the pavers are used up.

 You can see it shooting up but hasn't filled out yet... hopefully will be before the new houses get built next door!
