The slab was poured on Thursday. Conslabulations to us and we'd love to have a slab party but it's too hard to get onto site (the lock was a bit better secured this time!)
Work started before 7am and finished up by early afternoon. Admittedly it is a small slab as it only covers the garage, courtyard/alfresco area and the porch. From my perspective it looks very neat and tidy and has a bit of a lip even for the garage door! Apparently certifiers were also on sight in the afternoon to review the work and seems to have given it the thumbs up.
Enough with words. As GRRM would say "Words are winds". And a picture is worth a thousand words, right?

And of course we had some great progress photos of when the work was happening from our neighbour who I think secretly loves this :) -- I hope so too! Otherwise it's such an imposition!
