Bearers and Joists

On Friday the bearers and joists were mostly installed.

Hmmm... What horrible photos.  Taken on a day that hit the 40+ degrees.  We had other dramas on the way back from Howes Valley and just wanted to pop in to see where the guys got to on Friday.  The site fence was not locked but we didn't even go down as we didn't want to do any damage and Sprocket would have followed us in which may not be so good.

So a photo of the bearers and joists and where they are at.  I just hope that they have enough as it seems odd to me that they would stop at that point rather than just finish them off.  But that's just me!  Maybe it takes hours to get the rest done?

The other news is that the services trench is pretty much finished.  Apparently the guys came on the weekend to do the work!  And left the site unlocked.  Thank goodness we live in a safe place and our neighbours keep an eye on things.

We were very good and kept off the site (or pretty much off the site, I did step inside to take a photo but would have been only about 1 metre into the site).
